Because many of them were used for that very purpose, many of these blocks have been blown up over the years, and few remain in good usable shape. This example has been treated to a set of aluminum cylinder heads under an aluminum intake, and then crowned with 2 4-barel carburetors making this one mean machine. Moving behind the engine is an NHRA approved bell housing to keep you safe, should there be a clutch failure. Selecting the gears is a breeze, thanks to the Hurst Competition shifter.
