CRUISIN CLASSICS has made a special spot in our showroom for this stunning 1936 Packard, style 995, 120-B, Sport Coupe. This has been with the same owner since 1960. It was purchased by him in San Francisco, California and made a trek here to his home in Columbus, Ohio. The best part is the condition of this "Antique". It starts, runs and performs extremely well. There were 55,000 of these produced and I'm sure just a small fraction left in this condition. The rumble seat in the back is fully functional and as you can tell by the pictures, convenient, built in steps to get you up and in the seat. The adjustable luggage rack on the back is another attention getter as is the hard shell spare tire covers on either side of the car in front of the running board and at the side of the engine compartments. The drivetrain consists of an 8cyl. Flathead engine paired with a manual, 3-speed transmission. Please do yourself a favor and check out the undercarriage pictures that we have for you. For a car of it's years, it looks amazing.The interior is no exception. The seats are covered with era correct looking material as well as the carpet and headliner. The 3-speed shifter is on the floor and pretty much out of the way for more legroom in the front which is expected when driving a Packard. The steering wheel is big and round therefore not having power is not that much of an issue. In other words... very easy to drive. There is a battery cut-off on the lower side of the dash for convenience. The process to start the car is a simple, flip the power switch, turn the key to ON, pull out the choke, (center of the dash), and push the start button.
