Vehicle Description
Well for all you Corvette lovers out there here is one sure to make
you want a Corvette even more. This Silver 1965 Corvette roadster
with blue Naugahyde interior, leather seats, a lift off hardtop,and
4 Speed Manual transmission is a hot rodders dream. This is not a
matching numbers car because the 327 Cu. In.engine was swapped
out!!! Back in the day people did not leave their Hot Rods bone
stock. You wouldn't get caught dead running a stock Corvette
against another hot rod. That was sure suicide!!! The first thing
you did was what they called ""Soup up"" your car. In this case the
owner dropped in an LT-1 350 cu. in. 370 Horsepower small block ,
just to give it a little extra oomph!!! This car has factory air
conditioning!!! Yep Factory air!!!!While others of the same ilk
thought they were running a small block 327 with possibly 360 HP if
it was fuel injected, he surprised them all when he pulled away
from them in the quarter mile. Not by much, but just enough for
them to not be suspicious, but rather thinkit was just a naturally
faster car, or he was a better driver than they. Sweeet!!!!
