With the huge success of the model T and the rapid changing automotive world Henry Ford knew he had to come up with a new car and do it quickly to compete with the rest of the world. His response was the Model A. With a completely different gear box and the way it operated made the A more user friendly than the T. The Model A was produced from 1928 to 1931.
The Model A offered here is truly unique and not something you would drive to a car show and see another one like it. Henry Depasse was an investor in Paris who owned and operated an assembly plant in Paris and sold the imported Model A's. It is believed to have been built at the assembly plant in Paris and somewhere over the years was imported here to the United States. On the passenger side of the car there is tag from the assembly plant in Paris and the body tag matches the engine number. There is a freshly installed vinyl top. Other features include 21 inch wire wheels, rear mounted spare, vintage ahooga horn, nice rubber floor mats and fender mounted blinkers. This car shows well for its age and runs as it should. Don't miss you opportunity to park this piece of history in your garage.
