Vehicle Description
Offered here is a beautiful 1963 Buick Electra 225 Convertible. If you’re in the market for an affordable, four-passenger drop-top classic, this is the car for you! The car is powered the original Wildcat 455 401cid/325hp 4bbl V8 mated to a 3-Speed Automatic transmission. It cruises down the strip and at highway speeds with ease. It is turn-key ready and all power functions, including the power soft top and windows, work effortlessly.
Other noteworthy features include power steering, power drum brakes (front), mechanical drum brakes (rear), clean dash pad, original leather seats, and the Sonomatic AM Radio. According the to the trip tag, this car left the factory in Turquoise; however, we feel the Red re-spray with a white top and white interior really makes this car pop. The paint job was done so well that you can’t see a flake of Turquoise anywhere. The Wildcat 445, also called the Nailhead in the Electras, runs exceptionally well. The 455 doesn’t stand for displacement but rather the foot pounds of torque produced by the engine.
This “Deuce and a Quarter” is the perfect cruiser with plenty of room for passengers. It has awesome curb appeal and a quick-folding power top. This is a top of the line example from the 1960 Buicks. A great looking, fun-driving example at a very reasonable price. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our website: Garage Kept Motors. Call or e-mail if interested. Thank you for looking.
