Vehicle Description
Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present this stunning 1964
Chevrolet El Camino. These are getting harder and harder to find in
good shape and believe us when we tell you, this one is in good
shape. People tended to use these almost like sport trucks back in
the day. They would get driven everywhere including the snow and
they would tend to rust in all of the usual spots. As you will see
in the pics of this one, the body is as straight as an arrow. This
is NOT a 50 foot bondo queen. This is a very solid car. The fit and
finish are in great shape. This car was redone about 5 years ago
and the paint still presents itself extremely well. This vehicle
has had one color change as you will see on the trim tag under the
hood. This dark red is a beautiful color and as you will see in the
pics, it get's your attention from a mile away and keeps looking
better and better the closer you get to it.
So, now that we have you drooling over how good looking this car is
on the outside, run around and open that driver door and slide in
to the driver bucket seat. You will see that this interior is as
clean on the inside as it is on the outside. The paint on the dash
is in great shape, as is the carpet, seats, and headliner. You are
not going to see any rips or tears. There were not a lot of frills
on the interiors of these cars, but you have everything that you
need to see what is going on with your sweet ride. You will not see
a radio in this car. This leaves you the opportunity to put in
whatever you want should you choose to. Some people just love
listening to that beautiful sweet V8 music coming out from under
the hood.
Speaking of under the hood, that is where all the business is on
this cool car. It is the original 327 that was born with the car,
but it has been completely rebuilt. As you will see in the pics,
you are looking at headers, completely built aluminum heads, new
intake and carb, and the list could just go on and on. It has never
been on a dyno so not really sure of exact horse power numbers, but
the one thing that we can tell you is that this is a fresh build
and it hauls the mail. You are not going to hurt this engine. All
of this fun power is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission, and it
all goes out to a 10 bolt rear end. Everything is fresh built and
has good break in miles on it. You could drive this car anywhere.
Now, all of that go needs plenty of whoa any you have that with a
power front disc brake conversion on the car. You still have the
drum brakes in the rear and we can tell you that this car stops on
a dime. So, fire that baby up and listen to that 327 come to life
and just try to wipe that ear to ear grin off of your face we dare
you. Put her in first, slide off that clutch and go have the drive
of your life. This is one sweet ride that you will enjoy for years
to come. Make it yours today.
