They were designated model series 993 by Porsche, and today are one of the most collectible, and most desirable. Let us share with you why these cars are so very special. Imagine the designers at Porsche were up to their normal game of finding ways to improve an already fast, reliable sports car for the next generation. Free reign allowed engineers to completely change every single part of the engine and introduce a fresh 3.6L Flat 6 engine, mate it to a first ever offered 6-speed transmission, totally reengineer the entire suspension to include a multilink rear suspension, revised the power steering system, increase the brake size and factory outfit the cars with drilled rotors, improve the exhaust flow with dual flow catalytic convertors, and more! This meant wider rear wheel arches & wider tires for better stability, improved handling, more stable ride, reduced interior noise, improved ride quality overall, and reduction of front oversteering in throttle liftoff in corners, power in all rev ranges, and better stopping power respectively. The engine was further improved with the Varioram intake increasing power to 285 horsepower for all 911’s produced from 1996 and after. When it coupe form, it represents the stiffest, most solid, tightest, and lightest of all 993 variants. That is exactly what we have offered here!

Finished in Arctic Silver over Black Leather, this stunning example has traveled just 40,478 miles from new! Features include all original 3.6L Horizontal 6 cylinder engine, 6-speed manual transmission, 17" 5-spoke alloy wheels, climate controlled air conditioning, factory CDR-210 audio system, power windows & mirrors, electric sunroof, 8-way power driver Comfort seat, 4-way Comfort passenger seat, keyless entry with engine immobilizer, carpeted floor mats, vanity mats, colored wheel crests, and more!
It is absolutely complete with all original books & manuals, 2 key fobs with additional valet key, radio ID card & instructions, unused spare tire, factory tools, original compressor, plastic tire bag, protective gloves, and all available service records from new! It remained with the original owner who purchased from Continental Porsche in Joplin, MO in April 1997 with just 66 miles all the way through to March 2003. And surprisingly, it was under full extended warranty the entire time. Once in the hands of the second owner with just 22,003 miles on the odometer, it continued to be maintained by only St. Louis Porsche specialists; either Parktown Porsche, Reid Vann Luxury Import Specialists, and Euro Tricks Tuning (aka ET Tuning). The transmission was treated to a new shift guide sleeve assembly, gasket set, 2 synchro rings, shift detent, and gear teeth due to a faulty 3rd gear in 2004 at 27,179 miles. Since, it has had no major problems and received nothing but consistent Mobil 1 oil changes and new tires. At 40,365 miles, the brake fluid was flushed, DME relay replaced, and it received a 4-wheel alignment. New rear tires and wiper blades at 40,175 miles. Front tires were already replaced at 19,764 miles and remain very serviceable today. And just prior to its arrival to our showroom at 40,393, the oil was changed, battery replaced for new, and a full chassis & brake inspection by ET Tuning on August 11th, 2016.
It is absolutely ready to enjoy immediately from our showroom. You would be hard pressed to find a better coupe example, with any lesser miles, for the money.
