The Porsche 914 was first shown at the Frankfurt International Automobile Exhibition (IAA) in 1969. Having a longstanding agreement for co-operative work on projects; as usual Porsche handled the design and engineering duties. This layout is renowned for its precisely handling.

The story of this Porsche 914 starts at the port of San Francisco, California where it entered the U.S. From there the dealer that handled the selling of the car was Felton Porsche & Audi in Mill Valley, California. The Porsche came with standard features which included electronic fuel injection, radial ply tires, four-wheel disc brakes, tachometer, removable targa top, vinyl covered rollbar, hideaway headlights, day/night inside mirror, energy absorbing bumpers, vanity mirror, pile-type carpets, two-way adjustable seats, fresh air ventilation and seatbelts. Addition features added include a tinted windshield and center armrest console; both combined were one-hundred dollars extra. When this was purchased new it cost $6,899.28.

This Porsche is reported to be a beautiful original example with 3,200 miles that are believed to be original. The car is stated to be free from major flaws, rust, scratches and rock chips. Powering this mid-engine Porsche is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and a manual shifting transmission. The exterior is finished in Summer Yellow with an accenting Buckskin leatherette interior.
