For Sale: 1955 Chevrolet 210 in Arlington, Texas

Vehicle Description

1955 Chevrolet 210

You are looking at a beautifully restored 1955 Chevrolet 210 Whether you are just getting into the car hobby or are a veteran car guy you know that the poster cars for the 50s are the old Chevy's! This four door sedan looks great and will stand up next to any two door out there.

The 350 V8 engine runs strong and starts up smoothly. Chevy engines are known to last and this one is no different. It was completely rebuilt and is sure to last you a very long time. The exhaust system has been replaced and the car sounds great through headers into dual pipes. The engine compartment is all nicely painted for a very clean look which along with chrome additions make it show ready. Keeping the car running cool is an aluminum Griffin radiator with an electric fan. The 350 Turbo transmission shifts smoothly with perfect timing. From the leaf springs and shocks to the sway bar everything has been replaced. This car was rebuilt with the dream of a smooth ride always in mind. All new brakes were installed with disc up front to keep you stopping smoothly with no noise. A 605 power steering conversion kit was also added and helps to make it a very comfortable driver. It has 3:36 gears in back and the rear end was entirely rebuilt previously. The car has a great stance and sits on new thin white wall tires with original style hubcaps.

The exterior is coated in smooth red and white which was color sanded to perfection. Before paint, the car was completely soda medium blasted and primed so when we say it's smooth we mean smooth. During the restoration process all of the chrome and trim was removed. If it wasn't re-chromed or polished it was replace. No corners were cut when it came to making this car look just right. The inner panels of the fenders as well as the rims were completely powder coated to keep them from rusting. Fender skirts have been added in rear and gives the car a very cool look because you don't see those on most 55's.

The interior is done in black and red vinyl and looks amazing. The del-ray pattern works perfectly for this car and looks like new. The dash is coated in perfect red paint and has been left all original. A lot of times custom stereos are added forcing the dash to be cut up. This car instead has a custom built lower center console to house the AM/FM/CD player. If having 1 CD doesn't work for you then walk on back to the trunk and load up the 12 CD changer. It sounds great through aftermarket speakers and the rear package tray was customized to house additional speakers. The 14 inch original style steering wheel is coated in red and looks perfect. Just like the exterior, all of the trim and knobs look beautiful and have been replace. It has completely new carpet and the floor pans have been replaced. During this process extra thick heat resistant insulation was installed to reduced road noise.

The car was in the restoration process for 4 years and everything was gone over meticulously. It has been extremely well cared for since completed and used primarily as a weekend cruiser to the local shows.

This car is very nice and a steal at only $29,900.00!
