Original Owner. My father bought this for my mother in December 1969 off the showroom floor in Southern California It was purchased with a 383 Magnum engine but when there was 79,000 miles on 383, my Dad replaced with a 1978 Dodge 440 H.D. engine that had 5,200 miles on the 440. He did NOT keep the 383. The car has always been in a garage. The car was in a minor accident in 1981. Damage was to the right, rear quarter panel repaired with bondo and then my Dad had the car exterior repainted to the original plum crazy. The interior carpet and headliner have been replaced. Tear on seam of drivers seat. Extensive receipts of work/maintenance performed on the Challenger. Factory Air works but needs to be recharged. Original vinyl top, upholstery, hubcaps, wheels, wood steering wheel, and jack. The picture of the tag under the hood is hard to read so here is what it says line-be-line: V1W V9W 26 END N41 N42 N85 N95 R11 C55 G33 H51 J25 M21 M31 V1W A01 A62 A63 B51 C16 FC7 H6XW 000 924 035 373 E63 D32 JS23 NOE 106624 I graduated from high school in 1970 and went to senior prom in this car. I was married in 1971 and my parents drove me to the church in this car. In 1995, my husband and I went to our 25th high school reunion in this car. In 2005, our daughter went on her honeymoon in this car. I feel it is time for someone to enjoy her as much as I have over the years.
