Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this wicked custom 1990
Chevrolet SS 454 "Muscle" truck which is in beautiful restored
condition and priced to sell. This SS 454 features an awesome
exterior, an original Red cloth interior with several upgrades,
which is in fantastic condition, and a completely rebuilt drive
line. This SS 454 is very solid with great lines and gaps with no
signs of visible rust or rust repair anywhere on the body or frame.
This SS 454 was always garaged and primarily used as a show truck
earning numerous awards. This SS 454 is a ground charger but is
also very street friendly. This SS 454 is finished in the beautiful
and desirable color combinations of Black over Red cloth interior.
This is the factory color scheme as verified on the RPO label and
trim tag pictured below.
Exterior
The Black exterior is in super nice condition. Several exterior
upgrades make this SS 454 an aggressive Muscle Truck that really
stands apart from the others in the crowd. Its aggressive stance
with lowered suspension is just the beginning. This SS 454 was
professionally repainted years ago but still shows very well and
looks sleek with the added fiberglass cowl hood, side flares and
window visor. The paint is in great condition and the body and
frame are both very solid with no evidence of rust anywhere. Both
bumpers are in excellent shape and the rear bumper has been custom
designed and tucked in and smoothed over. The front bumper and
custom grill also look excellent on this truck. The exterior
lighting has also been upgraded and really compliments the theme of
this SS 454. There may be some minor imperfections that are not
noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded
from the photos. The tires have good tread left and are sized
275/50/17 in the rear and 255/60/17 in the front and the wheels are
Custom Boyd Coddington 17" genuine wheels that are in terrific
shape with no curb rash and shine beautifully. The bed is extremely
solid and clean with no evidence of any rust or repair work. We
removed a toneau cover which was installed just to show how
excellent the bed is. The windows are tinted.
Interior
The Red deluxe cloth interior of this SS 454 is in spectacular
original condition with many tasteful upgrades. Several interior
plastic parts were removed and custom billet pieces were made and
installed and give this SS 454 the "WOW" factor it commands. The
column shifter was removed and a B&M floor shifter was
installed with a custom floor console surround with working
fuel/air mixture gauge and battery gauges. The original seat covers
are in excellent condition with no major wear, rips or holes. The
carpet is in great condition with no major stains, rips, or holes.
The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or
fading and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The
steering wheel was upgraded as well. The am/fm digital cassette
stereo fits well in the dash. The original door panels are in
excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The
rear sliding window works properly and really lets a lot of fresh
air into the cabin. All interior and exterior lights and gauges
work as they should including the fog lights. The horn and stereo
are currently not hooked up or working. The wipers, power windows,
power locks, and the fan blower on all speeds work. This truck has
not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The headliner
is not sagging and has no major stains or rips.
Mechanical
This SS 454 is in excellent mechanical condition and has a lot of
power and torque. The original drive line has been completely
rebuilt and really pulls strong if desired but is also very street
friendly as well(see vin stamp below on transmission, engine block
pad numbers were shaved off when rebuilt). We have driven this
truck numerous times around town and it always performs well, pulls
strong, rids tight, has tons of power, gets a tremendous amount of
attention, and is a true joy to drive. In the video one can observe
this truck running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises,
and the truck handles and performs very well. We added a burn out
video to visualize the potency of this special SS 454. The block is
.30 over and a mild cam was installed, the original transmission
was re built and a shift kit was installed with a B&M shifter.
Custom valve covers with several custom billet pieces and
accessories really compliment the engine bay and add to this trucks
"WOW" factor. The previous owner of this SS 454 kept meticulous
care of the truck and regular maintenance was performed and the
truck was well cared for. This SS 454 is an exceptional driver that
feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke
when starting or driving the truck. It starts right away every
time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop
as they should. The exhaust system has been completely upgraded
with dual flowmaster mufflers, headers, and chrome exhaust tips.
The exhaust note demands your attention. Also, the engine is
exceptionally clean and in show condition and nicely detailed as
one can see from the photos. This is a factory AC truck and we
tested the AC and it works but appears to need a charge to blow
cold.
