Partial frame-on restoration in 2016 to great condition. Original 4 cylinder, 3.0 ¨B¨ diesel & matching 4 speed transmission run great and has new bright green metallic paint and upgraded wheels. Well maintained and has only 49,712 miles (reads 80,000 kilometers).
Restoration included; all mechanicals checked and operational, new exterior paint, new interior upholstery (front bucket seats, fold down seats rear, headliner and dash pad), new aftermarket air conditioning, new power steering, aluminum wheels, radial tires and very well detailed. Straight, true frame and very clean undercarriage. Runs strong and it looks amazing.
Additional items replaced/upgraded:
Starter, fuel injectors, battery, main seal motor, flywheel, transmission, leaf springs arched, windshield wiper motor, fuel line, exhaust manifold, valves adjusted.
One of the sharpest BJ40´s around and priced below market value. Sold its twin, 1978 BJ40on ebay 2 months ago to a happy buyer for $26,500.
