The Alfa Romeo is so unique and appealing to the masses worldwide from the early generations to the latest Veloce like this one. Alfa in 1990 started its last generation of Spiders brought into the USA and many smart people bought these up quickly as they new there would be no more. With an affordable price and a Pininfarina design like Ferrari, this was the car to own. Less than 1,000 are believed to be imported into the American market in 1991 and then adding the rarity of the automatic transmission – this is a must have for any person seeking a rare build vehicle.
This car has a history of being left in a climate controlled environment where it was used very sparingly for the first two owners. Sold new to a family in the Hamptons where it remained for many years and only driven on the perfect summer days around the local areas. Routinely picked up by the selling dealer for its bi-annual service and stored properly in the winter months. The third owner enjoyed the car down in South Carolina where only a few thousand miles were logged and some basic service being done on a yearly basis. The car has enjoyed the usual use and shows well for an older vehicle and a little TLC will bring this car right back to collector status condition. White paint is clean and smooth and has a quality shine to it along with the stunning tan leather seats with suede inserts. Convertible top works quickly as a manual and rear window is nice and clear. Wheels are original and tires have good tread left on them. Features on the car work properly and the A/C will need to be charged, but windows, lights, gauges and radio function with ease and make driving this car a joy.
The car has just been serviced and carries some nice pedigree with owner history, some service records, full owner's manual, 2 sets of keys, shop manual and reproduction of the original MSRP. Fun times lie ahead for the next owner as the easy driving automatic will please all and with the top down will create endless memories for the next owners.
