A top-shelf restoration was just completed on this amazingly original Boss 302 Mustang. This is a solid, well-cared-for and highly documented car that was restored back to its original glory. It retains all of the originally ordered options, including the Medium Acapulco Blue color, Shaker hood scoop and V-code 3.91 Traction-Lok. It is highly documented by the Window Sticker invoice, Marti Report, warranty card and even a service log kept by the longtime owner. This Boss 302 still has the original engine, with the serial number stamped on the block, the original transmission and the original V-code rear end. The original parts were rebuilt and restored or replaced to as close to correct original as possible. This original-sheet-metal car has not been damaged by accident or otherwise. There were no rust issues, not even in the floors. It still has original fenders, doors, quarters, decklid, taillight panel, and even the tie-down hook. The interior of the car is almost completely original. The lock-out rod from the steering column to transmission is in place. Everything in the trunk is original, including the mat, compact spare, jack and even the inflator bottle. The Boss is sold mileage exempt due to age, but the condition of the car, along with the longtime owner's mileage log, support the current odometer reading of about 69,959 original miles (the title reads mileage exempt). All of the history and documentation will go with the car, along with a photo journal of the Boss before, during and after the restoration.
