Vehicle Description
Full restoration with the frame completely painted and polished. The underside of the body was also stripped, sanded and painted. The car's body received equal treatment and was then painted. The upgraded power plant is a 409ci V8 with 340hp backed by a 4-speed manual transmission with a period-correct shifter. The interior was also replaced, and a vintage tachometer was installed on the column. The handling has been improved and upgraded with air bags on all four corners, and the controls are hidden in the glove box. Corvette Z06 brakes with drilled rotors were installed up front with new 18" and 20" wheels and tires, which also contribute to the new upgraded suspension and handling package. The end result is this stunning red-on-red Bel Air with a low-slung stance and performance upgrades.
