Vehicle Description

Only 4,149 Miles from New on this gorgeous 2015 Porsche 911 Targa 4S. Impeccably finished in sophisticated and rarely-seen Anthracite Brown Metallic over a Luxor Beige leather interior, this Targa is absolutely beautiful throughout. 3.8L/400hp 6-Cylinder Engine. 7-Speed PDK Trans. The original MSRP for this 'As-New' condition Porsche was $121,985 with factory options consisting of: Porsche Doppelkupplung Trans, Anthracite Brown Metallic Paint Color, Leather Interior in Luxor Beige. As would be expected of an exclusive top-tier sportscar with under 4k miles from new, this Porsche Targa 4S shows in superb condition, and runs and drives perfectly. The remainder of Factory Warranty is in effect to Sept. 2018 or 50k miles. The Targa 4S is a very special 911 -- this special version of the 911 quite unique, and very different. The most striking feature and distinguishing feature of the Targa 4 is a large glass roof blending harmoniously with the sports car's lines and lending it a distinctive personality. A side-mounted polished, anodized aluminum trim strip running the length of the roof frame emphasizes the elegant side outline. The glass roof is not just a visually appealing highlight, however, but also ensures a light, airy interior. The roof itself is made up of the sliding module at the front and a separately opening rear window. The sliding section opens up half a meter at the touch of a toggle button in the center console, gliding elegantly beneath the rear lid.The Targa is based on the Carrera 4 with all-wheel-drive technology. Power is put to pavement via Porsche's lightning-quick and silky-smooth PDK transmission with all-wheel drive. The system thereby ensures well-balanced propulsive power in bends when driving to the limit. This benefits, in particular, the car's driving stability in bends, directional stability at very high speeds, and of course driving dynamics and traction even on wet or slippery road surfaces. Porsche supplied the Targa 4 with aluminium monobloc fixed caliper brakes with four pistons each as well as cross-drilled, inner-vented brake discs on all four wheels. The advantage is quick, substantial and consistent deceleration as well as abrasion reduced to a minimum. The cockpit of this Porsche maintains basic design themes from the past but boasts cleaner layouts and enhanced functionality, particularly the classic instrument cluster that includes a high resolution, multi-function screen, a central rev counter, and an ignition lock to the left of the steering wheel. Though the cabin has a function-oriented layout, upscale materials on the doors and dashboard, and remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout welcomes both driver and passenger. The Luxor Beige leather seats in front are firmly bolstered, deeply contoured and are in excellent, 'Like New', condition, as one would expect of a premium sportscar with less than 4k miles from new, offering miles of comfortable driving. The Porsche 911 is considered as one of the most iconic models in the history of the industry. There aren't many sports cars that have been around as long as the 911, and none that have stayed as true to the original's formula. At the same time, Porsche has managed to transform the 911 into a modern sports car with the performance and amenities buyers expect. It's an icon of the sports car world. The Targa has been a stalwart of the 911 lineup since 1967, when Porsche put a distinctive roll hoop on the 911 Cabrio because they thought the USA was going to outlaw full convertibles. Since the US was an important convertible market, the Targa was the solution to provide rollover protection. Instead of a fully retractable top, the Targa had a roll hoop with a removable center panel and a plastic rear window. In 1968, Porsche started offering a glass rear window as it became clear that convertibles wouldn't be outlawed. As it evolved, that glass rear window became the only choice for the Targa. For more information on this 2015 Porsche 911 Targa 4S, or any of our 40+ Porsches always in stock, contact our friendly and knowledgeable sales team today.
