This 1956 Chevrolet Corvette has just received a no-expense-spared, nut-and-bolt, body-off restoration that took almost two years to complete. This car has the correct and original GR-code 265ci engine with factory dual-quad carbs and a factory 3-speed transmission. It is finished in Onyx Black with silver coves and red interior. This makes it one of 223 produced in this combination for 1956. This absolutely stunning example just received a NCRS second flight award in September 2016. It has both the soft-top and hardtop. 1956 was the first year Chevrolet offered dual-quad carbs on the Corvette. The odometer has just over 22,400 original miles (title reads exempt).
