Vehicle Description
This HEMI Dart re-creation has 11.5 miles since the frame-off restoration. It's equipped with a Gen 1 426ci HEMI with correct visual cues for a 1968 Hurst HEMI Dart. It was built by world-renowned HEMI restoration expert Dan States. It sports the correct gel-coat grey color underside. It also has fiberglass front, acid-dipped doors and van seat frames. It's finished in base clear gloss black with a one-of-a-kind, period-correct Candy Apple Red lace paint job with removable decal lettering. It's currently tuned for pump gas and rides on a one-of-a-kind set of Hurst red line white rubber drag slicks rear and front over Cragar SS wheels. (The burnout results in white stripes on the pavement.) It was a feature car in Mopar Action magazine ("Stocker Shocker"), feature car in Mopar Collectors Guide ("White Capped HEMI") and was winner of Mopars at the Strip West Coast National 150 Years of the HEMI Contest.
