History:
This 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster was the very first Speedster to be built at Porsche’s famous Zuffenhausen plant. Following its November 1988 production, the car was turned over to the Porsche VMA Department for demonstration and promotional photos. It was used as the photo car in brochures, posters, advertisements, and served as the introductory car for international auto shows. After its promotional tour of duty, this Speedster was sold through Porsche Cars of North America to Robert Snodgrass of Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, Florida. Snodgrass would sell the car to the second owner who has had the car since.

Condition:
In outstanding original condition, still with original paint and interior, as it was when it appeared in the 1989 Speedster promotional materials. Has been expertly cared for since. One of the finest examples available.

Of Note:
Used as the photo car in brochures, posters, advertisements, and served as the introductory car for international auto shows. Excellent records including original sales brochure in which it is pictured, paperwork from the original owner, correspondence between Porsche and the original owner, maintenance receipts, and Certificate of Authenticity. Also has letter and plaque from Porsche’s Tilman Brodbeck noting this Speedster as the pre-production photo and show car.
