For the 1957 model year Chevrolet once again chose to restyle their car, this time it was in an effort to compete with the all-new 1957 Ford. The redesigned Chevrolets featured design cues barrowed from Cadillac. The car was very well received, and today the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air remains one of the most iconic cars of the ‘50s.
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom is completed in red and accented by beautiful brightwork. The exterior features factory fender skirts and continental kit. The car rides on wide whitewall tires with factory wheel covers. The car is powered by a rebuilt LT1 6.2-liter V-8 Corvette engine which is paired to a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Power equipment on the car includes power windows and a Bullet SS power steering system. New additions to the car include a new wiring harness, aluminum radiator, exhaust and high-volume fuel pump. The interior is completed in two-tone black and red featuring bucket seats, a center console, air conditioning and Classic Instruments gauges.
