1968 was the first year that Plymouth offered the Road Runner as a performance option. Even though the GTX was already being produced, they wanted to go back to the drawing board to create a new musclecar to prowl and dominate this niche market. The standard engine was the 383-cid V-8, however for an extra seven-hundred dollars you could have the 426-cid V-8 Street Hemi rated at 425-hp with dual four-barrel carburetors. This gave the Road Runner the capability to run a quarter-mile in 13-seconds.

This 1969 Hemi Roadrunner has been professional restored; starting with a rust free car. The engine bay holding this Hemi is very simple, yet well detailed. The engine also features the "Air Grabber" intake that fits snug into the functional cowl hood. The yellow exterior is straight to the point with body color steel wheels; redline tires, matte black bulged hood, Roadrunner emblems and a black vinyl roof. The interior is tailored with black vinyl upholstery, front bucket seats, center console, in-dash radio and a tachometer.
