This 1978 Lincoln Continental is presented in black with a black vinyl roof and tinted windows. The car rides on steel belted tires with deluxe wheel covers. The car is powered by a 400-cid, 166-hp V-8 engine that is paired to a Select-Shift three-speed automatic transmission. Power equipment on the car includes power windows, steering and brakes. The interior is completed in dark red leather and features air conditioning, AM/FM radio and a Cartier clock.
This Lincoln Continental was sold new by Uptown Motors Inc. on January 6th, 1978 to Mr. Yatso, M.D.. He drove the Continental to a wedding in Milwaukee and subsequently parked it in the garage where it was pampered, loved, covered and stored. The car remained in the estate until 2015. It has recently undergone a major 200+ point inspection and service. While the factory warranty has long expired the seller claims you could get behind the wheel of this Continental and drive it anywhere.
Included with the car is the original order purchase contract, invoice, window sticker copy of certificate of title and registration from 5/23/78, owner’s manual and Ford correspondence letter.
