Pontiac Tempest Custom Convertible. These were really great cars
back then and they still are to this day. The body lines are
fantastic, and as everyone knows, you could check the box to make
this a GTO really quick. Everything on this car has been redone
from tip to tail and top to bottom. The fit and finish are second
to none. The paint was redone about 5 years ago and it presents
very well to this day. This car is done so well, that it just pulls
you in like a magnet and you have to go look at it. The white top
is new as well and it is a power top and works just like it should.
So dive on in to the deep blue of this paint job and let's keep
looking around shall we.
Since the lines, and probably the color drew you in to this car,
let's take a look at the interior. As we said before, everything
has been redone on this car. You are not going to find any flaws in
the interior at all. The white seats are as clean as they come and
in great shape. There are no cracks in the dash either. The radio
has been upgraded to more of a modern AM/FM stereo so as you are
cruising with the top down you can listen to whatever your favorite
tunes are. This is just one sweet car to cruise the boulevard in or
put your foot in it and have a little fun.
Speaking of putting your foot in it, under the hood of this blue
beauty sits a 326 cubic inch V8. This was not the horsepower war
motor, but it still put out about 285 HP. That will still get you
efficiently down the road. Like we earlier, everything was redone
on this car, and there are about 10,000 miles on it since it was
built. The transmission shifts smooth as glass so you can have all
the fun in the world in this car. As you look at all the pics you
will see that the bottom side of this car is as nice as the top.
Sure it has some nicks and chips here and there, but that's because
it has seen some road since it was built. This is truly are car
that you get in and drive with no worries. Change the oil when it
needs it and put tires on it every now and again.
