1969 Mustang hardtop with rebuilt 302 v8, 3 speed auto transmission, front end. New floor pans, tires, paint job, upholstery, vinyl top, bumpers, etc. Serious inquiries only.
I have enjoyed working on my classic mustang and driving it around during the summer (it really snows here in NE Ohio during the winter months, not good for rear wheel drives). I worked on it little by little as a hobby since I started on it in 2001 but I'm now 75 and have "destroyed" my back 2 years ago so I can't do what I did before.
This is the reason I'm willing to sell it now at such a low price and let someone else enjoy it! The asking price includes my out of pocket expenses for parts, etc. and engine rebuild and painting. It includes some minimal cost for my labor on all of the rest. It was my thing to do to keep me out of my wife's hair after my retirement!
I never took it to a show only a few local "drive ins" as I was in the process of slowly restoring it. It has made a number of 400 plus mile round trips to visit our sons after the rebuilding the engine and it ran perfectly.
It would only take a few dollars and labor to turn it into a show quality mustang similar to those being shown for 2 or 3 times my asking price.
I finally took it to someone else to paint two years ago after I really destroyed my back and couldn't do it myself. Had it painted the 2010 mustang dark silver metallic to match my wife's 2010 convertible.
It was only driven twice this year after I took it out of garaging it for the winter. Still runs like I want it too!
