Vehicle Description
STK 2164 1957 Chevrolet 150
The Chevrolet 150 was the base sedan in 1957, less flamboyant than the Bel-Air, but with the same time-honored body lines. This 150 model was made to be a street rod. This totally restored (2014) ‘Post’ with its many upgrades is now a distant cousin to the original Sedan. The attention to detail applied to both the exterior and interior designs is second to none. The vintage body was refinished in two-tone Yellow/White. It is a professional job that includes exceptional pin-striping for a stunning visual impact. The factory interior has been replaced with a handsome black vinyl ‘muscle-car’ configuration - very comfortable bucket seats, a center console and nice accents. The vintage instrument pod now houses a complete package of Classic Instrument gauges. Other features include vintage A/C, power steering, front power disc and rear drum brakes, and an AM/FM/CD (6 disc-changer). Under the hood, a new ZZ4 crate 350ci engine produces 415bhp. The manual transmission is a new five-speed with Hurst close-ratio shifter with a new Center Force high performance clutch. Rear gearing is moderate – near 3.36:1 – which is perfect with the five-speed. Finally, we cannot forget to point out the striking JEGS polished aluminum wheels. This classic also comes with a trunk full of parts, including original steering wheel, gaskets and seals, touch up paint, original gas gauges, car covers and rear end gears. Take a moment and look again at the photos. This Tri-Five Chevy is ready for a new owner who will appreciate the beautiful style and excellent restoration of this ‘57.
