For Sale: 1971 Chevrolet Nova in Fairmont City, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This gorgeous " Green with Envy" 1971 Chevrolet Nova is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. The Nova has always been a great platform for building some of the best performing street machines and this one is a great example of just that. The car started off as a rust free car that was in decent shape when the build began. It would take a while but when completed it would be one of the best Novaâ??s I have seen. Start with what everyone wants to know, â??whatâ??s under the hoodâ?. Though many would guess a big block you would be mistaken. Yes it is a 396 but it got there by using a small block. The motor was built by blueprint engines and is an absolute monster producing right at 500 ponies and over 500 ft-lb. Using nothing but the best, this full roller motor is powerful, reliable, and even runs on pump gas. The light weight aluminum heads have polished valves with hardened retainers and springs. The rotating assembly combines a forged steel crank, pistons and connecting rods which are then balanced allowing for the ridiculous redline. With roller cam giving this small block a good lope you may catch yourself just sitting there listening to it idle. With the power taken care the next decision was which transmission? With having previous success with the B&M TH350 it was a no brainer for this builder. He then matched it with a 2800 stall giving you a drive train that is an absolute blessing to drive. Hooked up to an Auburn posi rear end that has a set of 3.73 gears this Nova was built to be driven. The front end has been switched over to a Hotchkis set up consisting of tubular control arms making this 1970 Muscle car handle like 2010 Camaro. With an absolute street weapon at your disposal why try to fly under the radar. If this paint job doesnâ??t catch your eye it must have been because you only saw the green streak as it flew by you. Using MOPARâ??s â??green with envyâ? the results live up to its name, making people jealous everywhere it goes. The custom American racing wheels finish off this jaw dropping exterior. Open the door and a tastefully done interior goes well with the cars whole theme. The ProCar seats upfront with their huge side bolsters keep you firmly planted yet are comfortable enough to take an extended trip. The harnesses allow you to look cool while being safe making them the perfect fit for this beast. Options on this 1971 Chevrolet Nova SS tribute include; AM/FM/CD, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Leather Seats, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Alloys wrapped in Radial Tires.
