Vehicle Description
This beautiful, "M" Code, factory 4 speed, 1970
Mach 1 was fully restored less than 1,500 miles ago by one of the
more talented artisans in the Pacific Northwest. The quality of his
work rivals many of the body shops you see on the Velocity Channel.
He restored this 70 Mach 1 in 2007 and has used it as a weekend toy
to collect trophies at car shows in Oregon and Washington. This was
a "nut & bolt" restoration, which includes
stripping it down to bare metal and starting over. All the
components work as new, or better than new (like the quartz
movement in the clock). In the Marti report you'll see factory
options that include an "M Code" 4 bbl, 351
Cleveland engine, Shaker hood, factory tachometer, 3:50
Traction-Lok rear differential, power steering and power front disc
brakes. The original 4 speed transmission has been replaced by a
TKO600 five speed (featuring a period correct Hurst shift lever).
These features make highway cruising a pleasure. This exceptional
1970 Mach 1 is an older restoration that has always been garage
kept and covered. It has only been driven on the weekends during
good weather. The interior is in excellent condition, the paint is
stunning and the Magnum 500 wheels are new. The undercarriage and
engine pictures tell the rest of the story. It's dialed in and
ready to show!If you've been considering a Mustang Mach 1 as an
investment, here's one that needs nothing and is sure to
appreciate. It is located in the Portland, Oregon area....
