For Sale: 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in New Albany, Ohio

Vehicle Description

This 1-owner ’69 Mustang Mach 1 SportsRoof (Fastback) was built in San Jose, and remained in Southern California from 1969-1997 before the owner relocated to Columbus, Ohio where it has since remained. The car has been kept in a garage for the past 10 years, and is in good condition. The owner is now deceased, and his widow no longer wants to keep it stored. It is time for someone else to enjoy this Classic. Finding an original in this condition is very difficult to do, and this big block Muscle Car is ready for the right buyer. 1. A Deluxe Marti Report is available with this car (VIN #9R02M157109). 2. Approximately 60,000 original miles are on this RWD Automatic 351-4V (Barrel) V-8 Code-M Windsor classic (5.8 L). 3. All original body and chassis with minimal surface rust on the quarter panels and doors. 4. No rust on either the floor pans or the trunk pan. 5. Frame rails are in great shape. 6. All original windows, trim, knobs and handles. 7. Factory Original 3.00 Conventional Rear Axle, and FMX Select Shift Automatic Transmission. 8. Originally Lime Gold Paint, Ford #2041-A with black-out hood treatment this beauty was professionally painted its current color and markings (by the owner who was an acclaimed ‘auto body expert’ for Hollywood celebrities). 9. Interior is Black Knit Vinyl Mach I with Hi-Back Bucket Seats. 10. Factory Equipped with a Sport Deck Rear Seat; Power Front Disc Brakes; Power Steering; and SelectAire Air Conditioner. 11. The glass in the passenger side mirror is missing along with the factory shaker scoop. 12. There is a minor dent in the front portion of the hood/trim. 13. Car does not currently run, and we think there is some mechanical reason for it but we have not tried to start it since taking it out of the garage in late August 2016. The owner was told 10 years ago that work on the Cam, Crank, and Pistons was needed. 14. About 10 years ago a mechanic added an Edelbrock Carb 1406 and Intake Manifold, but we believe the rest of the engine---including the transmission---is original. 15. Includes the original carpet, seats, and lighting/lamps. 16. There is no visible damage to the vinyl on the dash pad---it looks great. 17. Includes all of the original instrumentation with the lone exception of the Fuel Gage. 18. The original stereo is no longer with the car, and it is missing a badge on the passenger rear panel. 19. The original antenna and steering wheel were replaced about 10 years ago, but those are available for re-installation. 20. The passenger door needs realignment as the windows on that side need to seal properly. The Mustang is being sold as-is where is with no warranties expressed or implied. I have described the car as accurately as possible with the pictures and VIN to tell the rest. Will gladly provide additional pictures if needed. I will assist with coordinating any shipping, and will store for a reasonable time period as you arrange shipping.
