Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1972 Mercedes-Benz W108 280SEL 4.5. Finished in correct and desirable two-tone Silver Grey and Dark Blue over blue leather interior. Optioned with A/C sunroof power windows leather and floor shift automatic. An attractive driver with an older repaint that shows well with only a few minor flaws.Interior is mostly original with some wear on the driver's seat but otherwise in good condition; wood has been refinished A/C is working and the only deviations from stock are a modern radio and an armrest center console. Straight and dry body/underside with excellent gaps and vault-like build quality. There are a few bubbles under the trunk seal and one spot in the lower left trunk bottom but otherwise this example is remarkably free of rust or previous rust repair. Excellent floor pans and rockers. Chrome and trim show well; grille is particularly nice.The 4.5 liter V8 runs smoothly and pulls like a freight train; the chassis has a tight and "put together" feel. Cold A/C.
