This Pontiac build started with a 400 Pontiac engine that was stroked to a 455-cid with a mild cam. The exhaust is NASCAR inspired with side-duals using Magnaflow mufflers and 3-inch pipes. The engine has Ram Air IV exhaust manifolds and a NASCAR style, carbon-fiber air cleaner. Backing the engine is a Legend LG700 five-speed transmission. The rear of the car has a GM 10-bolt with 3.23:1 gears and an Eaton Positraction differential. It is also equipped with Detroit Speed Quadralink rear suspension.
The chassis is equipped with tubular control arms, new sway bar, four-wheel Coilover suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. The car is rolling on Centerline Telstar wheels that are powdercoated flat poly gold. The center caps were made by the owner on a CNC machine. The BF Goodrich tires sidewalls have been shaved for what is called “hidden style;” and motorcycle valve stems have been installed for a flush finish along the rim.
The exterior is painted in Toyota Voodoo Blue paint; and the front splitter and rear aluminum spoiler were handmade. The stock manual locks have been converted to electric and the vent windows were replaced with one-piece glass from a 1973 Nova. The taillamps are from a 1968 Firebird. The interior has been fitted with Scar Procar bucket seats. Five point harnesses are equipped for optimal safety; and the radio has been removed as to not deter from the harmonious rumble that the engine produces.
