For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Corvette in Trevor, Wisconsin

Vehicle Description

PRICE REDUCED TO SELL, WILL REDUCE NO MORE! I will be pulling her from storage on April 8th, 2017 and will be taking some video of it running. I have recently been asked to try and bring it back to stock by a gentleman in Zurich who will pay for these updates (hood, radio, wiper vacuum system, intake manifold and period specific Carb - ~$4,000 to do). Easier to sell at the reduced price, but may begin the process for him if not sold soon and price would go up considerably.

This 1969 Corvette Stingray is powered by the correct numbers matching 350ci/350hp/380lb-ft L46 engine (Stamping pad #79S702994 V0925HW). The engine starts right up, idles smooth and powers strong. These engines are one of the simplest of Chevy’s V8s to work on with many sources of parts and paraphernalia to bring out its beauty. The correct 4speed M20 Muncie manual transmission shifts smooth through all gears and powers the wheels through the correct, recently rebuilt Posi rear with 3.36:1 gears. This ratio makes this great for the street and highway cruising. This car drives straight down the road, hugs the corners and stops solid and straight. It can be driven across country or shown at the local car show with great pride. The exterior is laser straight, and shows very well, due to a more recent complete strip and re-paint. This was done in the correct color (Fathom Green – code 983). I feel this is one of the greatest colors Chevy came out with for the C3 and the deep mirror shine on this car really accents the stunning chrome and stainless of the Stingray. At the time of the painting the Big-Block hood was installed which really adds to the great stance of the car as well as removes the problematic vacuum system for the wiper door actuation. The interior looks amazing with the matching green interior that is very unique for this model/color. The leather seats are in great shape and there are no cracks on the dash or center console. Excluding the clock and horn, all gauges work and look great in the classic Corvette cluster. A few of the fiber optics do not function, but all lights both inside and out work well and the front lights flip open and close without issue. All seals have recently been replaced. There is a pile of maintenance records for this car from 1999 to date. Although there are more than mentioned here, these include: • Rear Composite Mono Spring (10-27-99) • Edelbrock Intake manifold / sway bar kit installed( 5-1-00) • Edelbrock 750 CFM 4bbl Carb (5-18-00) • Dynomax header/Muffler/Pipes (6-26-01 @ 69,710 miles) • Washer pump/all lines/washer jar assembly (6-26-01) • Lower Control arm bushings (6-26-01) • Body seal kit (12-3-01) • Zip Performance Radiator (6-3-02) • Complete new rear and front brake calipers (10-18-02) • 70 amp Chrome alternator (8-24-04) • Starter re-built (7-27-05) • Chrome water pump (11-9-06) • Front timing cover and gaskets (11-21-06 @70,305 miles) • Rear Main Seal / Clutch assembly /Oil Pan Gasket/Alignment (11-21-06 @ 70,305 miles) • Zoom performance MU series Clutch (11-9-06) • Transmission rebuilt ( 12-13-06) • Holley mechanical Fuel pump (6-24-08) • Rear Diff Rebuilt (3-6-14) • Stainless Steel Headers (5/16) • New intake filter, cover, wires and plugs (6/16) As you can see the mileage added from 2001 (69,000) until present (72,500) is very low. I purchased it with 71,500 miles on the odometer in March, 2016. I have only owned the vehicle since spring and I am parting with it as the result of being a father to 6 wonderful children and the impracticality of the car. In addition, having a child with special needs and a wheelchair makes it impossible for he and I to go places with the car (which I love to do with him). This is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever owned and it is with a heavy heart I am looking for a good new home for it. I have done my best to describe the car accurately but realize it is a 47 year old car. I will be providing the books you see in the picture with the sale. I can be reached at [email protected]. Leave a message, questions and a number to contact. I will try to respondquickly. I will not ship (but will try and help arrange if needed) and will only accept wire transfer or Certified and cleared check in advance of title transfer. Thanks for looking.
