1966 CHEVY CHEVELLE CONVERTIBLE! TRUE AMERICAN CLASSIC! EXTREMELY CLEAN AND SOLID! A MID 90'S FRAME OFF RESTORATION THAT STILL SHOWS VERY NICELY! THIS CAR WAS BROUGHT TO OHIO FROM FLORIDA IN 1991. POWERED BY A STRONG RUNNING REBUILT CHEVY 283CI V8 ENGINE BEARING CASTING #3849852 AND SUFFIX F0726GF SITTING IN A NICELY DETAILED ENGINE BAY. WE WERE TOLD THE ENGINE TO BE ORIGINAL TO THE CAR; HOWEVER, WE CANNOT CONFIRM AS IN 1966 THEY DID NOT STAMP THE ENGINE WITH SERIAL NUMBERS. ENGINE WAS PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT BY MICHAEL'S OF MACEDONIA, OHIO DURING THE RESTORATION. SHE STILL PURRS LIKE A KITTEN! REBUILT POWERGLIDE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. POWER STEERING. FINISHED IN BEAUTIFUL BUTTERNUT YELLOW. THE PAINT IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION WITH ONLY A FEW MINOR BLEMISHES. EXTREMELY CLEAN AND SOLID BODY, FRAME, AND UNDERCARRIAGE! THE MOTOR STARTS EASY, SOUNDS SMOOTH AND RUNS BEAUTIFULLY. IT CAN TRULY BE DRIVEN WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE AND RELIABILITY! EXTREMELY CLEAN METAL THROUGHOUT! THE CAR HAD A TRUNK PAN AND QUARTERS PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED DURING THE RESTORATION. THIS CAR RUNS AND SHOWS EXCELLENT! VERY CLEAN METAL FROM TOP TO BOTTOM! CLEAN AND EXTREMELY SOLID UNDERCARRIAGE! ALL CHROME AND BRIGHT-WORK IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. FRONT BUMPER WAS RE-CHROMED AROUND 5 YEARS AGO. REAR BUMPER IS ORIGINAL AND IN GOOD SHAPE FOR ITS AGE. BRIGHT WORK THROUGHOUT IS BEAUTIFUL. OLDER RADIAL RAISED WHITE TIRES ON RALLY'S. A PLEASURE TO BE BEHIND THE WHEEL! CLEAN BENCH SEAT INTERIOR INCLUDING THE SEATS, DOOR PANELS, CARPET...ETC.. ONE TINY TEAR ON THE TOP AS SEEN IN VIDEO. OPERATING LIGHTS, DASH LIGHTS, GAUGES, BLINKERS, RADIO, HORN, HEATER, ETC.. ALL WORK EXCELLENT. CLOCK DOES NOT WORK. THE CAR CURRENTLY HAS AN AFTERMARKET STEREO HOWEVER THE ORIGINAL RADIO IS INCLUDED AS PICTURED. ALSO INCLUDED IS THE ORIGINAL 2 BARREL INTAKE, CARBURETOR AND AIR CLEANER ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL SPIN ON TYPE OIL FILTERS, 3 HUB CAPS, AS WELL AS A FEW ADDITIONAL ODDS AND ENDS AS PICTURED. EXTREMELY CLEAN TRUNK COMPARTMENT WITH SPARE AND JACK. ALL OF THE GLASS IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. NEW WINDSHIELD. ALL WINDOWS OPERATE SMOOTHLY.
