Offered here is a clean, red on red, low-mileage 1986 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. This 3rd generation example hails from Nebraska, runs/drives great, and is rust-free. Over the past few years, these “Fox Body” examples have been steadily climbing in collectability and value, especially for a GT convertible.
The car is powered by Ford’s legendary 5.0L V8 mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with rear-wheel drive. The drivetrain has been routinely maintained and the car performs exceptionally well. The tastefully upgraded Flowmaster exhaust gives the 5-liter some outstanding acoustics (be sure to watch the video). The car does not leak any fluids, the AC blows cold, and the power convertible top functions properly. The car is well-optioned with power windows, power locks, systems display, fog lamps, and rear seats. The car has been upgraded with an aftermarket radio (working) and some tasteful 5-spoke Cobra R wheels with newer rubber. It also comes with a boot for the convertible top, owners manuals, two sets of keys, wheel lock, and even a copy of the Nebraska title stating “40831 ACTUAL” miles from 2006.
