Vehicle Description
The Mini is a small economy car made by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. Innocenti of Italy was one of those successors along with a list of other assembly plants around the world. This 1967 example was the final year that the Mark I was in production before getting redesigned for the Mark II release in 1968. Because of it's Italian roots, it is truly the "Italian Job" Mini Cooper.
Mechanically, this car remains a great driver. It's trustworthy 60ci 4-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission work harmonious together for a pleasantly nostalgic ride. The older restoration has been untouched giving the car a true patina curb appeal. Other noteworthy features include a wood dash, leather door inserts, "Mini" wood shift knob, new "Mini" floor mats, and an aftermarket stereo mounted in the driver door.
This is a cute little Italian Mini and a great deal at the price offered here.
