For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Nova in Lutz, Florida

Vehicle Description

A beautiful red outside and an upgraded stock interior makes for a very nice classic. But underneath the surface of this 1967 Chevrolet Nova beats a 450 hp stroker heart and a performance suspension. So really, it's exactly what you want in a sleeper Nova.

The crisp Nova body has always been popular with customizers. Rendered in sinister out-for-blood kind or red, it has the gloss and shine that comes from investing in a very professional application of the best modern paints. Plus, the large 17-inch ARE torque thrust style chrome wheels lets everyone know to take you seriously. Those are nice custom pieces, but the rest of this fierce look comes from a careful restoration of the original GM steel. Plus, you get all the correct vintage Nova details like the correct badging, full trim, and bright chrome bumpers front and rear. It's a head-turner for being both complete and custom.

Tan interiors always look fantastic against the red paint. It only gets better with seats and carpeting that feels quite fresh. The rest of the major components, including the door panels, dashboard, and steering wheel have a nicely preserved feeling of a classic that was owned with pride. Joining the original equipment like the extra wide speedometer and heat/defrost control are upgrades like the AM/FM/cassette stereo and a full set of AutoMeter auxiliary gauges, including tach.

When you take this one to car shows, you'll never leave the hood down. That's because the 383 cubic-inch stroker motor is a true star. It was installed in 2013, and so that's why there's plenty of shine on components like the performance air grabber, etched valve covers, pulleys, and other pieces. But the $8,000 spent on the engine bay was not just about looking good. There are plenty of performance upgrades, including aluminum heads, roller rockers, Edelbrock intake, and Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor. We have the dyno sheet to show that the full package makes 450 hp, but really all it takes is the growl of the header-fed dual exhaust for everyone to understand there is some serious power coming from this mighty Chevy. The investment in this Nova was also about reliably delivering all of this power, and that's why it's backed up by components like the aluminum radiator, electric fan, and MSD ignition. This classic has been restored to be both fast and comfortable, so you get features like the tubular A-arm front suspension, Caltracs traction bars in the rear, sway bars on both ends, and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive. The package is finished of with vented disc brakes in the front and the modern grip Cooper ZR-rated tires at all four corners.

Complete with the original warranty card, owner's manual, build receipts, and maintenance records – this is one of those few custom cars that never fails to impress. It's a turnkey ready speed machine that can own the car show and the left lane. A full package like this is guaranteed to leave us quickly. Call today!!!
