Take a look at this beautiful 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 900 Convertible brought to you by Caruso Classic Cars. Purchased in 2005 by the current owner this Corvair is very clean and in great shape, has won 6 trophies in the last 3 years. Road ready and parade ready this Corvair comes with a rear mounted, air cooled, 84 hp, 6-cylinder motor, and modified dual exhaust system make it sound great. The generator was replaced with an alternator in 2010 and the 2 speed power glide automatic transmission that was replaced in 2005. The single brake was modified to a dual brake to increase stopping power. With this Corvair comes new 13 inch tires, brakes, shocks, and lots of extra chrome and engine parts, including the original muffler, generator and hub caps. The under carriage is very clean and free of rot and rust. This car was repainted from white to red in October of 2015.
This Monza 900 style Corvair is red on red with a white convertible top, bucket seats and Corvair emblem stitched floor mats. The interior is very clean. This car was used in many parades and has all the "bells and whistles" needed to make it a looker. With specialized horn system installed, this makes it even more of an attention getter, 8-track player works and also has an AM/FM cassette/cd player, new speakers under the dash.
