Vehicle Description
I bought this car from a local Corvette collector. I don’t pursue Vettes, as I am too tall to tall to fit in the seat. But the optional hardtop and excellent condition drew me to this car.
It was sold new in California. I am not sure why the optional hardtop with rear defogger was ordered. But it is one of the only twelve hundred and some sold with a hardtop.
It is also well equipped with full power, cold A/C, heated mirrors and driving lamps. The original Bose stereo has been replaced by a Pioneer system that includes a CD player and remote control.
The interior is exceptionally nice. Floor mats always covered the factory mats/carpet. There are no cracks in the dash or console. The grey leather seats are in great shape.
The body appears to be completely original and it looks great. The convertible top is in wonderful condition as is the hardtop. The tires have plenty of tread remaining.
All gauges, indicators and lights work properly. the A/C and climate control are functioning correctly. the cruise works great. All features are in working order.
This car has not seen a lot of use. It just turned 91,000 miles. In 26 years, that is only 3500 miles per year. There is lots of life and enjoyment left in the great Corvette.
