Vehicle Description
This Trans Am was built at Pontiac's Van Nuys, CA, assembly plant and was sold new at Westward Pontiac in Phoenix, AZ. It's powered by the 400/335hp Ram Air III engine teamed with a Hurst-shifted 4-speed manual transmission and 3.55:1 Safe-T-Track differential. It was delivered with power steering and front disc brakes, Soft Ray tinted windshield, wood-rimmed sport steering wheel, AM radio and rare Parchment interior trim with bucket seats and center console. A no-expense-spared rotisserie restoration retaining the original body panels was performed on the car to outstanding results. It has close attention to such details as the correct engine and undercarriage finishes as well as Goodyear Polyglas tires on Pontiac Rally II wheels and T-3 headlights. Documentation for this rare first-year Trans Am includes PHS paperwork and reproduction Window Sticker.
