Vehicle Description
This is the W111 series from MB, commonly known as the Fintail, or Heckflosse, in German.
The engine is 2,306cc, OHC in-line 6 with a pair of the original Zenith double barrel downdraft carbs. & a compression ratio of 9:1 producing 120hp (DIN) about 135hp SAE @5400rpm & a torque that peaks at 145 lb.ft @4200rpm. The body has no rust, the dash is like new, the brakes have been re-done, all the rubbers including window channels are new. The interior is flawless, all instruments work, even the clock works, the upholstery is excellent. The air-conditioner is mounted under the dash. The gear shift is column mounted. All original tools with the car. The car is second owner (who has driven only 80 miles). The chrome is excellent.
