I have been working on rebuilding this GOLD 1978 T-top Trans Am for the last 13 years. It has a rebuilt Pontiac 400 (not Olds 403) engine and a Hurst 4-speed (aka-4 on the floor) shifter. The transmission was just rebuilt with a Center Force clutch added. The rear end was also completely rebuilt when the transmission was done. The brake system is completely redone from the stainless steel lines, down to the rotors. The body panels have been replaced as needed and it has a brand new paint job and decals. I have recently licensed and registered it in California. It was a quite a process, because it was from a different state.
Done: -entirely new brake system down to the stainless steel lines. Flowmaster exhaust system made to look stock, with Hedman street legal headers. Rebuilt engine (with receipts) and Edelbrock intake, carb, etc. Redone interior. Powder coated honeycomb rims with brand new TA tires.
