1950 Chrysler Windsor-Highlander. Newly painted 2dr sedan-new radiator hoses, rebuilt original honeycomb radiator,pressure tested and flushed,new thermostat,newly rebuilt temperature control valve,new antifreeze and fanbelt. original generator just rebuilt. Tires are great, I cruise at 60 mph on highway,up to 70 mph ..car runs like a Top!. Radio needs to be fixed. 2 speed wiper motor not hooked up to electrics or needs to be fixed. Interior dash looks brand new/original headliner /door panels look great. New rugs were installed,just did the front seat and armrests in jan 18 for 1,500 bucks, with authentic highland "scottish kelt" mohair fabric, don't go buy the picture of the front seat,as like i said had it reupholstered. Bought at estate sale and I need room for storage - as of now it is garaged and it is rust free. plaid seats reflect the "highlander" option look.fluid drive automatic has 2 ranges low 2speed (4 to 1/3 to 1)and high 2 speed-(2 to 1 and 1 to 1. 00).. 90 % of driving done in high gear . use clutch only to shift from reverse to low range or high range, then drive and stop without using clutch, I just changed the nonleaking transmission fluid and found it good but changed it anyway because it may of been original.. nice car..also rebuilt the original carb at ROD'S carb shop of phoenix az. rebuilt distributer/installed points/condenser, coil wires- all from andy beauman mopar supplies...new 6 volt NAPA battery new regulator. i have invested 37 G plus-- and want only 21 G....RUNS LIKE A NEW CAR..Lots of headroom.sitting position is nice and comfortable.. i want to buy or trade for a 64 mercury marauder w/factory A/C w/390 fe motor which is more my style. this car is a good buy and is solid, rust free. all fluids were recently checked and changed... motor is 250 cubes- much bigger motor than the 230 dodge and 217 plymouth.. Flatheads run forever and the dodge flathead 230 6 cyl ran the "power wagon" truck,this is bigger-250 cubes!! Rare padded dash for safety. real nice car!! Stunning paint job. IF WRESTLER RODDY PIPER WAS ALIVE, THIS CAR'S SCOTTISH INTERIOR WOULD BE CHAMPION GRADE, LIKE HIM. Come on, buy this great car! Original 23,000 miles. Just installed a 6 volt inline electric fuel pump to avoid fuel-vapor-lock in AZ hot weather when temps exceed 100 degrees.
