1938 Ford Deluxe 4-Door Convertible Sedan. Only 2,703 produced. Documented ownership history. Only 3 previous owners. Frame off restoration of the original body which was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. Has new bumpers, grill center and guards. All stainless was polished. Driven 800 miles since restored. Total miles 87,800. Painted original color, Vineyard Green. Engine was completely rebuilt and balanced with new pistons, valves, cam, and lifters. Also added were twin 97 carburetors, Edlebrock manifold (original manifold available) and aluminum heads, electric fuel pump, Fenton cast iron headers with dual exhausts, Mallory twin point ignition system and special full flow oil filter system. Has new clutch, pressure plate and u-joint. Car has 15 options including factory Columbia 2-speed axle, banjo wheel, radio, glove box clock and passenger vanity mirror. A new tan Haartz style convertible top, header and seals were installed after painting. Upgraded to hydraulic brakes with stainless steel wheel cylinders. All new glass and seals. Several original manuals, books and factory tags, including the original owner's manuals for the car, the convertible top and the Columbia 2-speed are included. Tool pouch and tools are also included.
