You are looking at a 1955 Chevrolet 210 Handyman 2-Door Station Wagon that is a great vehicle! She is a very solid with a super solid frame and braces straight solid body...the floors however will need a little attention. It was pressured washed inside when stored and the jute under the floor mats stayed wet and well...the rest is history! It has a rear replacement window with it. The former owner had installed a 327 engine in the car before storing it in the barn however he forgot to put antifreeze in it just water so you know what happened there a cracked block therefore it will need an engine. A friend of mine purchased the car from where it had been stored in a barn since 1975. That is 40 years in storage. I just had a customer at my shop who had know the car for that 40 years. The story goes that the rear hatch window was broken while in the barn by a rock thrown up by a lawnmower. My friend that I purchased it from thought he had the car bought 25 years ago and he purchased a rear window at the Charlotte Auto Fair for the car. The deal fell through and he was just able to purchase the car a few weeks ago after the former owner passed away. My friend still had the rear window that he had purchased 25 years ago and it goes with the car. If this were a Nomad instead of a Handyman it would not be for sale at all.
