This Lancia Fulvia Coupe is the last model to be designed and hand built by the Lancia Factory in Chivasso, Italy. It was built and named to commemorate the 1972 Monte Carlo Rally victory by Sandro Munari and the winning of the World Rally Championship in this same year. This Lancia was purchased from an estate in Italy and brought to the U.S. where it was purchased by the current owner in 2000 at the RM Auction in Monterey, California.

This Lancia has been carefully restored down to the correct blue mohair seats, which were cut by the same upholstery shop in Italy that made Lancia seat covers back in the ‘70s. This Lancia Fulvia is a Special Commemorative edition as evidenced by the mohair seats & sticker on the side window. The mechanical side of the restoration included new rod bearings, timing chain, carburetor overhaul and rebuilding the brake system.

Lancia has always broke new ground when pushing for new technological advances; and this Fulvia with four-wheel disc brakes, four-cylinder engine, dual carburetors and a five-speed gearbox exemplify their love for technological perfection.

The Lancia comes complete with a copy of the book “La Lancia” by Wim Oude Weernink; and a wish “that the new owner will love and appreciate this car as much as the present owner does.”
