1972 MONTE CARLO Complete rotisserie restoration (body-off frame), by owner before me. Florida car before I bought it in 2012. 454 Big Block, approximately 400 HP. This car screams quality and attention to detail everywhere you look. The body and the frame is rust free and is rock solid. I recommend and welcome pre-purchase inspections. I feel comfortable driving this car anywhere, anytime. Car has: - Approximately 5,000 miles on the restoration - Approximately 124,000 miles on the car - Power Steering - Power Brakes - Factory Air Conditioning - Professionally added since I bought the car: • Power windows • Power door locks • Power trunk release • Alarm system • Interior ‘walls’ recovered to match the rest of the interior - Garage kept since restoration - Chrome and trim shine nicely - All window glass is good RESTORATION All work was done by professionals. The following information was given to me by the previous owner. Paint: - Factory silver - Dark gray on sides - Mirror finish paint, base coat, clear coat - Note: Pin striping around dark gray has been painted on. (see photos). Interior: - All new upholstery, carpet and head liner. - Leather and cloth on the seats. - All new weather stripping - Cold factory A/C, (converted to R134) PB and PS, New tires. - The radio is retro shaft style after market with usb plug in for charging and a plug in for Ipod or MP3 - All original dash lights work, and the car also comes with under dash mounted gauges that are hooked up. - Front bucket seats added - Console added Engine: - Rebuilt big block 1972 LS5,454 motor; 4 bolt main with approximately 400 hp - Roller rocker and comp cam 230/230 duration 480/480 lift - 30 over with 9.5 compression - High tech push rods - New GM crank - Eagle SIR I-Beam rods - Keith Black forge pistons - High performance oil pump W/6 qt. pan - SFI harmonic balancer - New timing chain - New high performance water pump, - Rebuilt heads have been reworked and fitted with new oversized stainless steel valves. - New hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel - New valve guides - New valve stem seals - New comp cam performance springs. They have some light porting and blending. - Larger SS valves have been installed, (2.190 in and 1.880 ESH), comp springs good to .600 lift. - Heads have 113cc combustion chambers and have 260cfm intake and 188cfm exhaust port volume. This is measured per runner. - The best factory head (at that time) had 240cfm. They were cleaned and magnafluxed with new valve guides installed. - No problems with piston to valve clearance. Motor was balanced. Block & heads have been magnafluxed. - Edelbrock Aluminum intake manifold. - Holley 650 CFM 4 bbl carburetor, High tork starter. New HEI distributer. - High torque starter. - New HEI distributer. - New spark plugs, wires, battery, alternator & belts. - Over $6,500 invested in motor alone, in addition to labor Transmission: - Built TH 400 transmission - Medium shift kit - 3000 Stall converter Rear End: - Rebuilt 3:31 positraction Body & Frame: - Body-off rotisserie restoration - All new upgraded suspension front and rear and steering - New brakes and brake line. Disc brakes in front, drum in rear - Frame has no rust - Frame has been wire brushed and painted with Pour 15 - Floor pans and trunk are original, no rust and solid - All original sheet metal - All body seams match up like they should - The body is arrow straight - All trim is stainless steel and in exceptional condition - Bumpers in exceptional condition Exhaust: - Aluminized 2 1/2“ dual exhaust system - FlowMaster mufflers
