It recently underwent a complete frame-off restoration, during which it received a new GM 502 engine and a new six-speed transmission. The rear end is also new and includes 4.56 gears. The outside lights are in their original location, but the current owner had them built into the backside of the fenders, rendering them invisible until illuminated. In addition, the entire interior is new, and the consignor rates everything about the car as being in excellent condition. The consignor has invested more than $70,000 in this vehicle in recent years to get it in tip-top shape and has only put approximately 100 miles on it since the restoration was completed.
