Presented here is a wonderfully restored, show winning 1971 Pontiac GTO convertible. This car is powered by a 400-cid V-8 engine that is married to a console-shift automatic transmission and a Posi-traction rear differential. The engine bay is very detailed and features power brakes, power steering, air conditioning and a dual snorkel air cleaner. The interior is completed with front bucket seats with headrests; power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt steering, center console and a radio with an 8-track player. The exterior is finished with tan paintwork, factory Honeycomb wheels, white convertible top, Firestone tires and desirable hood-mounted tachometer.
This GTO is completed with a PHS and other documentation. Multiple awards have been won with this car, but one of the most notable is the Pontiac National Gold Award. This convertible is one of 678 built in 1971; and one of 508 built with a 400-cid V-8 and automatic transmission.
