We are pleased to bring to market this quality replica built by Classic Motor Carriages out of Hallandale, Florida. The car is built well and represents itself much nicer than other kit cars on the market. The SSK was a rare vehicle back in the day and one that has strong history with the Mercedes and Porsche names. Only 40 believed to ever produced and recent sale approached the $8M mark. The lines and history make this car not only a great parade car but one that can be enjoyed on any trip around town.
This SSK was built well but even more important it has been maintained well by the two previous owners. The car runs and drives with no complications and vehicle moves thru the gears with ease and all lights, horns, signals and gauges appear to be working properly. Vehicle retains the cool rear spare tire mount, rear luggage carrier, leather engine strap, and European gauges on the grill. The chrome is in very nice condition along with the paint and wire wheels. Vehicle retains the 4cyl Ford powertrain and drivetrain along with dual exhaust and front disc brakes. Heater is working nicely and the full soft top with side curtains is also included. Vehicle also retains steel running boards and upgraded trumpet horns that play the famous "Cucaracha" song.
This is a well-cared for SSK replica and one of the nicest that we have had come across our showroom over the years. The unique silver with red accent paint job really lets it stand out from the rest. It deserves a closer look as ones in this condition both mechanically and cosmetically will always be smart investment.
