This Tri-Power car has a matching numbers engine with rare JA SUFFIX California A.I.R. smog equipped engine, Transistorized Ignition, M-21 4-speed transmission and 4.11 posi rear-end. This Vette was treated to a frame-off restoration by Country Corvettes of Kansas in 2007 and has been driven very little since. Also featured to this car is F-41 heavy duty suspension, off road exhaust, rally wheels with Redline tires, both soft and hard tops, AM/FM radio and tinted glass. This car is painted Sunfire yellow with black interior and a Black Stinger on the hood. The production date of this car is March 29, 1967 and has the original factory trim tag. In 1967 this car was sold new at Clements Chevrolet in Rochester, MN. and in 2007, this beauty achieved an NCRS Top Flight Award and is sold with supporting documentation. History of the 1967 Corvette: The 1967 model of the Chevrolet Corvette featured the simplest exterior of all model years as the majority of the trim was removed including the popular hood badges and race flags on the fenders. Chevy also decided to place 5 functioning slots behind the front wheels. The knock-off wheels were modified to use 5 lugs instead as a result of new federal safety regulations. Seat redesigns, placement of the emergency brake between the buckets and the removal of the passenger hand-hold handle above the glove box also was a feature of the ’67. A large air scoop replaced the blister-style hood from the previous years. The dual tail lights were used instead of a single system with an optional back-up light.
