Vehicle Description
1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S convertible with a 455 engine and front Hurst hood scoop and rear spoiler. I bought the car in early 2015 as already reconditioned and have been driving it almost every pretty day since. It's a solid convertible to enjoy. I installed a killer alpine/focal stereo system. The car has a electronic switch to open the exhaust and make it louder. Car drives well and has been well maintained since reconditioned. In the last year I replaced the alternator, battery, machined the heads and replaced the manifold gaskets, and repaired the carburetor. I also installed angel eye headlight rings and upgraded the headlights to hi output smds. I also had the speedometer rebuilt. The car also has air conditioning, Car is lethal and legal, as it passed inspection. Hate to see it go, but I have to pay for a kids college and knew this day was coming. Time for you to get a reliable American muscle car that looks and sounds better than everything else on the road.
I included some pics when I first got it so you can see what the trunk looked like before I put an amp and subwoofer in it.
The pics and receipts I received from the previous owner show the car being stripped down to the frame and rebuilt as it is today. In the pics I see the frame was powder coated and the body sanded down smooth. The receipt shows a complete rebuild in late 2005 about 6800 miles ago. 455 Olds with parts that could show wear either milled or replaced on the engine. Oil pan is 8 quart 9.25 inches deep. Specs I see on receipt says 290 in/EX 300 Duration at 0.050 224 in 234 EX Gross Lift in 496 EX .520 RPM range 2500 - 5500. Front Disc brakes. New front end/suspension. New power steering box. Rear differential rebuilt.
This is about all I know about this car. I just got it to drive and have enjoyed all the attention I get off of it. Even the cops give me a thumbs up.
